Joe Rivera started doing comedy when he was touring local comic shops and was doing humorous comic reviews on youtube.com. Joe started writing stand up material for stage and drove to Las Vegas on NFL Championship weeked in 2008 and got on stage with J. Reid, Mikey V.I.P. and a jam band comprised of local artists and Prince's guitarist. Joe was able to talk his way on stage that night at the Ice House and opened the show.
Joe returned to Northern California and started performing at local open mics and did openings and intermissions with Minor Dischord. Joe Ran two open mics and showcases in Lathrop and Manteca, Ca and was able to open up one night for Leo Flowers and Cain Lopez at a Chamber of Commerce event and was featured on the front page of the local newspaper.
Joe aims to always be the cleanest comedian of the night and prides himself on his no profanity, no potty humor approach to comedy. His material consists of off the wall, politics, pop culture, comic book, religious, and current event material. Joe is a metal shredder by trade who dreams of one day playing for a touring group that is based out of L.A. and cites his comedic influences as John Kricfalusi, Mike Judge, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Bob Saget, Jim Breuer, Mtv's the State, and Bill Hader.
